Saint Jude was a disciple of Jesus who preached the Gospel and suffered martyrdom at about 65 AD in Beirut, in the Roman province of Syria. Popularly known as "The Miraculous Saint," the Apostle Saint Jude Thaddeus is the Catholic Patron Saint of "lost causes" and "desperate cases". It is said that when all other avenues are closed, and devotees call upon him, he often sends his help in the last moment.

Clothed in green and white garments, he is depicted as holding a golden metal pendant in his hand as a symbol of his help with a small flame above his head signifying his closeness to God. Catholic Christian devotees pray to Saint Jude as being the one to pray to when all hope is lost especially in serious health matters and life-and-death situations. It is customary to make a vow that if he helps when called upon, one will publish a notice of thanks in the newspaper.

This gesture magnifies the saint's name and gives hope to those who read the notice that they too may find the help they sorely need through Saint Jude. Named after St. Jude, is a popular Nursery School in Faridabad with brightly colored classroom, walls splashed with paint, spacious classrooms and a lot of ventilation. Children giggling and laughing with one another as they play on the swings and slides is enough to know they're happy being at St. Jude's.

We presume St. Judes Nursery School has probably been the answer to every parents cry for help during admissions and when parents heave a sigh of relief because their child has been admitted, it's equal to saying thanks. St Jude's is an English Medium School preparing toddlers of the age group of 2 ½ yrs. to 3 yrs for interviews and admission into country's well-known English Medium Schools. The teachers are all Montessori trained and handle the children well. Little Arti was a fresh entry, the youngest in the group and could barely hold her spoon properly.

A teacher sat with her everyday for a week, helped her spread out her napkin at lunch time, tied her little bib and taught her how to eat. Like Arti, A number of parents are happy with St. Jude's because they feel their children have become conversant in English language, have gained self-confidence in doing basic things like eating, tying their shoe laces and eating on their own with minimal adult help. At St. Jude's, education is imparted in an informal and homely manner to help the children interact with one another and learn the basics of etiquette, sound moral values and table manners.
