question about having a gemstone set in to a ring?
if i bought a gemstone ( meaning that it is nicely cut and polished and facated) but its really big about 150 Carats. could i bring it to a jewlery store and have them set it in to a ring? or is it to big for that. i dont care i love it this size but will the people at the jewlery store set it or they wont ok thanks 4 the info
My sister brought an opal- large size- to a jeweler she knew to set it for her in 3 rings and he cut it up way too small and after that it was too late to do anything about it. I was the recipient of one of the rings and the stone ended up falling out. Just be careful who you get to do it.
