Genuine Diamond Solitaire
Which engagement ring do you like better? (white topaz or diamond created nexus)?
I have always loved this white topaz ring for a while. It is very affordable and I love the setting of the diamonds surrounding it. That is what I always wanted in a engagement ring. Here it is:http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-White-Diamond-Solitaire-Engagement/dp/B001AMT058/ref=pd_sbs_jw_10
The diamond nexus one I recently saw and I love how the stone sparkles, but I find it kind of plain. It is also in the budget.

So- a girls perspective, which one do you like better?
Thanks!
Welcome to my world! I call it the plain vs sparkly debate. I've actually looked at both of these settings before, not these exact rings, but the exact same settings.
First, consider your lifestyle. Can your lifestyle handle diamonds on the shoulder or would you be better off with a plain setting?
Second, consider what wedding band you will wear with it. Will the wedding band have stones, will it be plain? Which one goes better with the wedding band you had in mind?
As far as looks go, I love that white topaz. And my sparkly vs plain debate ended in a sparkly ring, so I clearly have a preference.
The setting on the DNL ring is beautiful, but it is a little plain. And it seems pretty obvious you prefer the other one. I think it's pretty significant that you keep going back to the first one and it's what you always wanted....these were the final deciding factors for me.
Best of luck!

Some people! These rings are not cheap-they're inexpensive, there's a difference. Cheap means cheap, but these rings are quality rings at a low price, what is known as a good value! But you probably wouldn't be familiar with good values...
As for Tokio saying they got a 3 ct diamond for $2000.....seems you're probably wearing a cubic zirconia because a diamond that size would have set you back AT LEAST $30, 000. Your stupidity shines like the sun.
ETA:
Ack-more ignorance! Ok, white topaz is the real thing! It's a precious gemstone just like a diamond!
White topaz is an 8 on the MOHS hardness scale making it a very strong stone suitable for daily wear. However, it is prone to chipping just like any other stone, even diamonds! Except when you chip a white topaz you can afford to replace it, a diamond, probably not. Diamonds are incredibly hard, the hardest substance in the world, actually, registering a 10 on the MOHS hardness scale, but don't mistake this for it being indestructible. Diamonds actually have tiny fractures in them that leave them prone to shattering on impact, and your ring will be impacted on a daily basis. No stone, not even a diamond, is guaranteed to last your lifetime.
